They are founders of The Center for Enlightened Partnership that offers training and coaching in the fine art of relating via the World Wide Web and teleclasses. Paul and Layne have taught relationship and communication skills to thousands of people all over the world. Their work has ranged from working with senior and mid-level Japanese business executives in Tokyo to presenting a paper and workshop at the International Conference for Conflict Resolution in St. Petersburg, Russia. After having done personal development work for over 18 years, I can honestly say that the simple exercises in this book have been some of the most profound at rapidly changing the quality of my relationships with anyone.
Not only do the processes in Straight From The Heart work extremely well, but they have worked EVERY time that I have utilized them.
Just simply reading the guidelines prior to doing a "Heart to Heart" talk has dramatically shifted my feelings and opened my heart thereby creating closeness and love when there had been hurt and anger.
